Welcome to Team Volquartsen

We would like to introduce you to our newest team member, Kolby Pavlock. Kolby joined Team Volquartsen in 2017 and we are looking forward to sponsoring him this year.

We also want to congratulate him on finishing 1st in RFPI and RFRI, and 6th in Open at US Steel Nationals.

Kolby took the time to share with us a little bit about himself.

“I was born in Boise, Idaho and currently live in Kuna, ID with my parents and sister. I started hunting at age 3 going out with my dad and mom. At age 10, I started bird hunting and at age 12 started big game hunting.

I am 17 years old and a senior at Kuna High School and have been taking a precision machining class. I have been able to maintain a 3.75 GPA or better and plan to pursue in Machining after graduation.

I started shooting competitively when I was 12, competing in rimfire and 3-Gun. Then started shooting USPSA little after. I love competing in these shooting sports and want to continue doing them.

I currently shoot a Volquartsen Scorpion and a Lightweight rifle for rimfire matches. For USPSA I shoot a custom Glock 24 40cal from Zev Technologies and a custom built STI 2011 Open Gun from Candy Mountain Custom. I am currently a Grand Master in Limited and a Master in Open, In 3 Gun I run a Seekins Precision AR-15 with a Vortex Scope, a custom Glock 34 from Zev Technologies, and a Remington Versa-Max shotgun.

I am more than excited to have Volquartsen as a sponsor for this year. I will represent them on and off the range to my best ability. Volquartsen rifles and pistols are top notch and I am blessed to be shooting them in competition.” –Kolby Pavlock.
