Our Black Mamba Pistol has quickly become one of our top-selling firearms. Its popularity leaves us with brand new Ruger® MK IV™ uppers.

All of our Black Mamba builds start with a brand new Ruger® MK IV™. We take it down to the bare polymer frame that we then utilize to build up our Black Mamba pistols.

We're now offering Ruger® MK IV™ uppers in a variety of configurations, including some with our barrel.

You may have noticed these uppers listed on our Clearance page and asked yourself what would I need an additional upper for?

If you own a Ruger® MK IV™, you know how easy the push-button takedown makes it to change out uppers. There's no excuse not to try it.

Here are just a few reasons why you may want to do this:

• If you're like us, you put a lot of 22 LR rounds downrange and this provides the perfect backup at an affordable price. You can save some wear and tear on your pride and joy by shooting your backup upper.

• You can completely change how your pistol handles. Many people with a Lite model love to switch back and forth between lightweight and bull barrels depending on activity.

• More versatility - switch from one upper to another for quick changes between open sights and an optic. Or even between different optics.

• Even more versatility for those that are looking for a different barrel length. For example, you have a 10" and wish sometimes you had something a little more compact and maneuverable? The 5.5" is perfect for that.

• We have models available already threaded 1/2 x 28 which saves the expense, time, and hassle of having your current upper threaded.

• Maybe you're looking to try your hand at a gunsmithing or refinishing project and aren't quite ready to try it on your primary upper. These uppers are a perfect place to hone your skills.
