A Bigger Cause

One thing we learned a long time ago is in business there should always be a cause, a mission, or a purpose that is bigger than a number that shows up on a financial statement.

It isn't always easy but it is always worth it.

Recently I was reminded of this by a good friend and brand ambassador, Brandon Lilly. Brandon had reached out to us regarding a couple of raffles he was doing for Special Forces Foundation (SFF). We were happy to play a small part in this raffle by donating a Scorpion pistol featuring a custom Cerakote finish with a bold SFF logo. Between the two raffles, Brandon was able to raise over $30,000 for the SFF!

As our team learned more about this organization and their mission to provide immediate and ongoing support to the Special Forces community and their families, it became evident that simply donating a pistol didn't feel like enough. We knew we wanted to do more.

Our first step going forward will be the inclusion of the SFF logo on our Team Volquartsen jerseys. Our goal here would be to increase awareness of the SFF and their mission. We will also be educating our team so they can assist in this goal while attending matches around the country.

Placing their logo on the front of our jerseys is just the start, as we intend to work directly with the SFF to raise money to help those who have given so much.
