Final Weekend for Free Shipping

If you're anything like me, you will spend days, if not weeks and months, researching a product prior to pulling the trigger (no pun intended) and buying it. That said, once I decide what I want my patience goes out the window and I want it delivered yesterday!

Good news hits, I receive a shipping confirmation along with a tracking number and I think I am good to go. My purchase should be arriving within a couple of days at most … until it doesn't. I instantly pull up the tracking number to see where it is and receive the dreaded message that my shipment hasn't been scanned in days.

My wife will tell you patience is not a trait I possess, but I realize I likely need to wait a few more days for it to arrive. Those few days pass and still no package. I log back on and NO UPDATES - it has now been 10 days since it was last scanned!

So now what? I am without my purchase, the vendor has already shipped the product, and neither of us have much recourse other than to wait.

Unfortunately, I have had this happen more times than I would like to count - both as the shipping company and as a customer. I have never been one to try and create excuses but instead find solutions. The last thing we want is our customers to deal with this same level of frustration so its on us to find a way to try and avoid this at all costs.

Effective, Monday March 15th, we will no longer be utilizing USPS as a shipping option. The number of delays, lack of updates, and no clear resolution on these ongoing shipping issues has forced us back to using UPS as our primary shipping company.

This shipping change will require us to modify our shipping rates. We will no longer be able to offer free shipping on all online orders placed after March 15th. Our email subscribers will still receive free shipping on all orders over $200.

This was not any easy decision to arrive at, but ultimately we feel it's what's best for our customers as well as our company and customer relations team.

Remember, you have until 11:59pm central time on Sunday 3/14/2021 to still take advantage of free shipping with no minimum order. This does apply to backordered items too!
