Key similarities between the Scorpion & Black Mamba include:

  • Volquartsen wire-EDM cut internal components for a 2.25 lb trigger pull
  • LLV upper which features a stainless steel barrel in an aluminum shroud
  • Laser-hardened breech
  • Available in 4.5" or 6" model
  • Available with a 1911 style or Target 22 style grip angle
  • Threaded and compensated models are suppressor ready with 1/2 x 28 muzzle threads
  • Integral Picatinny rail (excluding Mamba-X models)
  • Accuracy: 1/2" or better @ 25 yards

Key differences between the Scorpion & Black Mamba include:

  • Black Mamba models are built on either a stripped Ruger® MK IV™ 22/45™ polymer frame or a Ruger® MK IV™ standard aluminum frame (Mamba-TF)
  • The Black Mamba utilizes Ruger®'s push-button takedown while the Scorpion takedown is similar to a Ruger® MKIII
  • Scorpion models feature an aluminum CNC-machined Volquartsen Target Frame
