Both the firing pin and extractor are wire-EDM cut from A2 tool steel. We have been asked many times why we don't use titanium like many other manufacturers? The answer is simple, we see better performance from the A2 tool steel parts. The A2 tool steel is able to be made harder and sustain its edge longer than its titanium counterpart.
