This August - Let's Go Shooting!

For individuals in the firearms community, we enjoy introducing new people to shooting and shooting sports. There couldn't be a better time for that than now! August is National Shooting Sports Month.

Our goal is to raise awareness while proudly encouraging shooting and shooting sports as a positive, safe, family-friendly pastime that is enjoyed by millions of Americans. It's the perfect reminder of how being approachable, checking our egos at the door, and having fun on the range are key ways to continue to grow participation in shooting sports.

Whether you shoot a rifle, pistol, revolver, or shotgun and want to focus on precision or speed, there's a home for you in shooting sports.

National Shooting Sports Month is brought to you by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), and all participants will share content and promotions using the hashtag #letsgoshooting.

As our good friend Katie Pavlich has said, "I’ve had the opportunity to build a new shooting tribe by introducing a number of people to the sport and to exercising their constitutional rights for the first time. For all involved, it’s been a rewarding way of building friendships, securing new skills and emboldening our individual accomplishments. The crucial bonus has sparked new interest in protecting our way of life and liberties. The American shooting tradition isn’t going to vigilantly protect itself. Luckily, we just gained millions of new friends and, hopefully, advocates for the cause."
