Introducing the Summit 22 WMR & Summit 17 HMR RiflesIt's hard to beat the popularity of the 22 LR when it comes to rimfire rounds. However, the 22 WMR has always been one of my favorites. Most people may not know this, but back in 1997, the first rifle we ever manufactured from start to finish was our semi-auto 22 WMR. Fast forward to 2017, when we started manufacturing the Summit in 22 LR, we knew that caliber was only the beginning of what was possible from the straight-pull toggle bolt design. We applied what we learned in refining the Summit 22 LR and knew it would be ideal for a 22 WMR and 17 HMR version. 100 yard, 5 shot group We are excited to announce the Summit rifle is now available in both 17 HMR and 22 WMR calibers. These new offerings will be available in stainless steel and lightweight aluminum configurations, with various barrel and stock options. Configurations will feature a 2.25 lb. trigger pull, 1/2 x 28 threaded barrel, 0 MOA integral Picatinny rail, and a 9-round magazine capacity. A non-threaded barrel option will also be available. Check out this video for a complete overview. From the ranch to the range, the Summit rifle is designed to be versatile but, most importantly, reliable. Assembled with our signature, wire-EDM cut internal components, our Summits are built to perform from a bench but are durable enough for the toughest field use. Specifications include:
