Additional Clarification On Our Disconnectors

In our most recent email, we covered the new CNC-machined disconnector for the Ruger® MKII/MKIII. Unfortunately, it may have raised more questions than answers.

I'd like to provide some information to clarify which disconnector is needed.

The new disconnector, item #VF2MD, is designed specifically for Ruger® MK II and MK III pistols while item #VC2DN is designed for Scorpions, Black Mambas, Ruger® MK IV, and the MK IV 22/45.

If you have one of our Scorpion or Black Mamba pistols, it already includes a CNC-machined disconnector.

However, installing the 19.22 Flat Trigger into a Scorpion (Target or 1911-style frame) requires the updated #VC2DN. The updated VC2DN became available August 1, 2025.

If you are installing the 19.22 Flat Trigger in a Ruger® MKIII or MKIII 22/45, it is necessary to install item #VF2MD. This disconnector has MKII/MKIII etched on the side.
