It all starts with the trigger

What does it take to achieve one hole groups? Most people would instantly answer it is all in the barrel. The obvious answer isn’t the only answer though. What about the trigger pull?

How many times have you put the first couple of rounds in the same hole only pull that fourth one ruining a group that would have otherwise been worth of sharing on your Instagram account?

In my opinion, there is more to it than just a light trigger. It comes down to consistency from one pull to the next. As shooters, we want to be able to predict when that trigger will break. An inconsistent pull can throw our breathing off, cause the trigger to be "jerked" and not squeezed which can result in the dreaded "flier."

It is for this reason that we take great pride in our triggers - whether it be on a complete firearm or our aftermarket parts. All of our hammers and sears are manufactured using a wire EDM process. Admittedly, this is not the fastest way to produce this parts and definitely not the cheapest but in our opinion it is the BEST!

All of our internal components are made from tool steel and then hardened to Rc 54-56. We combine this process with CNC-machined triggers to eliminate as many variables as possible during the manufacturing process.

That might be enough for some people but we feel our customers are not just "some people" so we take it even one step further. We apply proprietary finishes to parts such as our MKII, MKIII and MK IV Target Sear in order to produce the best trigger pull we can. There are those that think we might go overboard with this…we wouldn't have it any other way.

Check out the latest addition to our trigger upgrades - the Stainless Steel Target Trigger for the Ruger MK IV available by itself or as part of our Accurizing Kit for the Ruger MK IV.
