Updated Disconnector for the Ruger® MKII/MKIII

One thing we have learned is that a "one-size-fits-all approach" doesn't work. It may sound good on paper, make things easier in terms of our SKU #'s and inventory, but that idea doesn't translate to optimal performance.

We were once again reminded of this when working on some changes for our CNC-machined disconnector for the Ruger® MKII, MKIII, and MK IV. As we do with all our parts, we constantly test and evaluate areas for improvement. In doing so, we found that offering a separate disconnector for the Ruger MKII/MKIII, different from the one used in the Ruger® MK IV, is best.

We will continue to offer our CNC-machined disconnector for the Ruger® MK IV Item #VC2DN, but will also now offer one specifically designed for the Ruger® MK II and MK III pistols Item #VF2MD.

As you can see in the image, VF2MD has an engraving designating it as MKII/MKIII compatible.

VC2DN will fit:

• Volquartsen Mamba
• Volquartsen Mamba-TF
• Volquartsen Scorpion Target-Style Frame
• Volquartsen Scorpion 1911-style Frame

VF2MD will fit:

• Ruger MKII
• Ruger MKII 22/45
• Ruger MKIII
• Ruger MKIII 22/45

Our Accurizing Kits for the Ruger® MKII and MKIII will also be updated to include the new VF2MD Disconnector.
