Your Trigger Is The Foundation
You’ve purchased your Ruger® MK IV™ and have had a chance to put a few rounds down range. It's easy to see why this platform is so popular. However, if you're like most shooters, it doesn't take long before you start wondering how much more fun it could be with a few upgrades. This is where the real fun starts. Then you start searching for aftermarket parts, and the fun turns into overwhelm fast. Where do I start? Which company should I go with? Will these parts even work together? I'll be honest, decision fatigue is real for me. When I'm faced with too many choices, I tend to put the decision off. And nothing's worse than finally spending the money only to find out you went down the wrong path. Buyer's remorse is real, at least it is for me. So if you don't know where to start, here's my recommendation: start with the trigger.
The trigger is the foundation. It's hard to realize your pistol's accuracy potential when you're fighting a heavy trigger pull on every shot. This was the reason behind introducing our first Accurizing Kit more than 40 years ago. It takes the guesswork out of improving your trigger and comes with everything you need for a crisp, clean pull at 2–2.25 lb. Since we introduced that first kit, we have been focused on improving the trigger design of the Ruger MK series. That means constantly looking for improvements, whether it's a new machined finish, a change in geometry, or a better way to tighten tolerances. We're obsessed with delivering the best trigger pull possible. The only decision you need to make is flat or curved. And the best part? There's no wrong answer. It comes down to what feels right to you. And if you'd like to take the guesswork out completely, we'll install it for you. Shop all Accurizing Kits for the Ruger® MK IV™ Sincerely,
