It seems every year around this time everybody is worried about putting on a little extra weight. Well, maybe sometimes a little extra weight isn’t such a bad thing.

We have billed our Scorpion 22 LR target pistol as the “ultimate lightweight target pistol” and we believe it is just that having taken top honors in both the open and limited divisions at this year’s NSSF Rimfire World Championships. Even as well as this pistol has been received, we have had some shooters say we may have gone “too light” with our design. We take all customer feedback seriously and wanted to offer a simple but effective option for this - introducing our Scorpion Barrel Weight. CNC-machined from stainless steel and weighing 3.8 oz this weight is a drop-in that takes only seconds to install.

So why would somebody want to add weight? It has always been our position that the balance of your firearm is just as if not more important than the overall weight of it. The location of this weight on the bottom of the barrel completely changes the feel and balance of the Scorpion. There are a lot of you that love the weight the Scorpion balances in its current configuration but this is for those that are looking for just a little more.
