In-Depth Cleaning of Volquartsen VT2 22 LR

Always test a small area to ensure the product will not harm the surface. We advise very minimal contact with these solutions, immediately followed by thorough removal of these solutions from the surface.
Here's a look at the cleaning process for our VT2 22 LR rifle. One thing we get asked often is how often they should be cleaned. Unfortunately, that is not a clear-cut answer and depends on several factors, including the type of shooting you are doing and the type of ammo being used.
Once you are finished cleaning it is recommended to shoot about 50 rounds through it to ensure function if you are cleaning before a competition or hunt.
You should also be aware that cleaning the bore will affect accuracy for the first 20 rounds until the bore gets seasoned.
