Installation of Laminated Grips for the S&W SW22 Victory
Before We Begin
Warning!
- Always make sure the firearm is unloaded before performing any work it!
- Remove all ammunition from the work area before working on any firearms.
- Always wear safety glasses when performing any work on a firearm.

Installation of the Laminated Grips for the S&W SW22 Victory
Tools Needed
- 3/32 Hex key to remove factory grip screws
- A clean, non-slip surface, such as our Cleaning Mat
Notes
Our grips are only compatible with standard size magazine releases. If your pistol has an extended magazine release (MK IV Hunter and Competition models), you will need to replace your magazine release with our Magazine Release for MK IV
Step 1 - Separate Frame from Upper
Separate the frame and upper from one another using the normal push-button takedown feature of the pistol.
Note: do not dry fire the frame while disassembled.
Step 2 - Swap Right Grip
Use the 3/32 hex key to to remove the screws securing the right side factory grip panel to the frame.
Note: Keep the frame flat on the table to ensure that the magazine release does not fall out.
Install the right laminate grip panel on the pistol and reinstall the grip screws to secure it.
Step 3 - Swap Left Grips
Use the 3/32 hex key to to remove the screws securing the right side factory grip panel to the frame.
Note: Keep the frame flat on the table to ensure that the safety and bolt release do not fall out.
Insert the alignment pins into the holes at the bottom of the left grip.
Place the magazine release button into the left laminate grip panel and carefully place it on the pistol. Reinstall the grip screws to secure it.
Step 4 - Function Check
- Perform a function test of your pistol as described in the factory manual.
