Installation of our Exact Edge Extractor for the Smith&Wesson® SW22 Victory. Our Exact Edge Extractor is manufactured through an EDM process to produce exacting tolerances. This extractor will not lose its edge under impact such as other extractors made from stamped steel or titanium that will have their edges roll over and actually cause extraction problems after a short period of use.
Our extractor features a very precise hook point. The hook is .005” closer to the rim of the cartridge to allow for the most positive extraction available.
Tools Needed
- A clean, non-slip surface, such as our Cleaning Mat
Step 1
Remove the bolt from your pistol.
Be careful, the plunger is under spring tension and will want to fly out.
Pull back on the extractor plunger to release tension on the existing extractor.
Once tension is removed from the extractor, slide it out of the bolt.
Step 2
Pull the extractor plunger back against the spring until the plunger clears the notch for the extractor.
Slide the new extractor into the notch and carefully release the tension on the extractor plunger.
