How to Replace a 10/22 Barrel

- Remove all ammunition from the work area before working on any firearms.

Follow these instructions when removing a 10/22® barrel from the receiver. This process applies whether you're removing a factory Ruger® barrel from a factory receiver or our aftermarket barrel from our aftermarket receiver.
The process for installing one of our aftermarket barrels into your 10/22® receiver. This installation process is the same whether you have purchased one of our Stainless Steel, Lightweight, or Ultralite aftermarket barrels.
- 1/8" Allen wrench
- 5/32" Allen wrench
- 5/32" pin punch
- Rubber mallet
- A clean, non-slip surface, such as our Cleaning Mat
