This past November we were honored to host Katie and her husband, Gavy here in Carroll, Iowa. It was great to be able to give them a behind-the-scenes look at our manufacturing facilities. We were also able to get in some range time, as well as tour the Templeton Rye Distillery, and then enjoyed some local BBQ.

Laser hardening is a process we've been considering for awhile. In the past, the drawback to conventional hardening processes has been the ability to control the hardening process and not distort the barrel or barrel integrity in anyway – that is until now. The precision of the laser hardening process provides hardening to specific areas compared to standard hardening procedures.

As much fun as it was to start building the Summit 22 LR, in the back of our minds we knew it was only the beginning of what was possible from this straight-pull toggle bolt system. The toughest decision was not whether or not we would be offering more calibers but which caliber would be next.
We had done the 22 LR, 17 Mach 2, and are excited to announce the latest addition to the Summit line up and that is the 17 WSM.
